This led 30-year-old business owner, Ade Hassan, to challenge the lingerie authority by introducing a company with shades that can work for all skin tones: Nubian Skin.
After years of hand-dying her undergarments to darker tones that matched her skin, Hassan decided to start a company for women who were just as frustrated as she was. Her line contains rich shades like Café au Lait, Caramel, Cinnamon, and Berry in brassieres, underwear, and pantyhose.
