About the Launching Las Vegas award

The annual Launching Las Vegas Award was created to celebrate the hard work, effort, and commitment local startup companies and entrepreneurs devote to helping Vegas shine. Our nominees are chosen for this award because of their dedication to improving our community through economic growth, and the sense of purpose and passion their efforts display.

For 2018, three standout nominees were chosen for their commitment to invigorating the Las Vegas entrepreneurial scene and bringing innovation to the community.

Meet Our 2018 Nominees

Sin City Cupcakes aims to contribute not only indulgent & delicious desserts in a fun and fabulous social setting, but to also to bring the community together as a whole, sharing and giving back to others in need. Sin City Cupcakes caters to both kids and adults who love sweet treats or want to put a smile on someone’s face. They take pride in celebrating all types of occasions: birthdays, bachelorette parties, weddings, catering, corporate dinners, conventions, charities, grand openings, and more!

The Sweat Store

The Sweat Store is a female-owned and operated, multi-label active and athleisure retailer. The Sweat Store team believes in empowering women to feel confident, bold, and sexy. The team finds ease in accomplishing this goal through hands on personal styling in-store and by offering a wide but curated selection of high-fashion fitness and athleisure clothing from coveted designer brands with approachable price points. The belief is that every woman deserves to have someone they can rely on to make them feel and look their best, and that approach is used in styling each and every person who walks through the doors.
