These transaxillary breast augmentation scar photos show healed underarm incisions in real patients. The incision is placed within a natural crease of the axilla rather than on the breast, leaving no surgical scar on the breast itself. This is my no-breast-scar approach to breast augmentation.
About 95% of my breast augmentations use this approach. I use camera-assisted visualization to see the surgical pocket directly and control the dissection and implant position while keeping the incision off the breast.
When reviewing these photos, look at where the scar sits within the natural axillary crease and how it blends with the surrounding skin as it heals. Scar appearance varies from patient to patient and changes over time, but the breast itself remains free of an augmentation scar.
These before and after photos show one of the defining advantages of transaxillary breast augmentation: the incision is moved away from the breast and hidden within the underarm crease.
